GSL Design is a web design and local SEO business based in Yuma, Arizona. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to gsldesign.net and GSL Design’s public Quick Launch demo sites.
Information you give us
When you use a project or contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, business name, phone number if you give it, your answers about your project and any message you write. We also record which page you sent the form from. Our form software stores your IP address and browser type with each submission to help prevent spam.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to you, prepare a proposal and follow up on your project. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.
Where it goes
Form submissions are stored in our website’s database and sent to our business email. Our website host stores the site and its data. We keep form submissions for up to 24 months, then delete them.
Quick Launch checkout
When you prepare a Quick Launch order, we save your business and contact details, services, service areas, design choice, website requirements, order terms acceptance and any logo or photos you upload. We use these to prepare and deliver your website. Uploaded materials are stored privately, with access limited to your order session and authorized administrators. Please do not upload passwords, payment card details or other sensitive documents.
A necessary browser cookie keeps your draft linked to your session so you can return from checkout. We retain Quick Launch briefs and uploaded materials to prepare and support your project. Automatic deletion is not currently enabled for these records. You can ask us to delete your materials by emailing hello@gsldesign.net; we may retain records needed for accounting, disputes or legal obligations. Payment and accounting records are retained in Stripe under our account’s applicable retention settings.
Stripe processes payments and invoices. We send Stripe the contact and order information needed for checkout, recurring installments and paid invoices. Payment card information is entered directly with Stripe and is not stored by our website. We store order references, payment status and invoice links to manage your order, refunds and support. Stripe’s handling of information is described in its privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to understand visits and show relevant GSL Design ads. These services set cookies that can recognize your browser across visits. Necessary site functions don’t depend on them.
Google Analytics measures page visits, demo interest and site use, and Google receives technical information about your browser and visits. The Meta pixel helps us measure interest and show relevant GSL Design ads. On our main site, these run through our Google Tag Manager container, which also runs Google advertising measurement. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we don’t load the Meta pixel or Google advertising measurement.
Our Quick Launch interest events identify the design viewed or selected, time spent viewing and progress through the intake steps. Those events do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, business briefs, uploaded files or payment details. Demo clicks and checkout attempts are not treated as completed purchases. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. Read Google’s privacy policy and Meta’s privacy policy for their handling of data.
Videos and outside services
Most videos on this site are hosted on our own server. The FieldPins video is played through Cloudflare Stream, which receives basic technical information such as your IP address when the player loads. Links to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Maps and other sites take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Website assistant
Our website has an optional AI chat assistant, Gizmo. When you use it, your questions and Gizmo’s recent replies in that conversation are sent to OpenAI, which generates the answers from the content of this website. OpenAI processes this data under its own API data policy and does not use it to train its models. We don’t store chat conversations. If Gizmo can’t answer a question, we keep the text of that question (not your name or contact details) for up to 90 days so we can improve the website, and we count how many chats take place. Please don’t enter personal or sensitive information in the chat. Your conversation is kept only in your browser for the current session and is cleared when you close the tab.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email hello@gsldesign.net and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
