Signs it’s time

Signs your website is holding your Phoenix business back

  • It doesn’t look as good as your work

Customers judge you by your site before they ever see a job. A dated design makes a strong business look like a risky choice.

  • It treats “Phoenix” as one place

The Valley is a collection of cities. A customer in Mesa or Peoria wants to know you work in their area, and a generic “serving Phoenix” line doesn’t tell them.

  • It hasn’t kept up with your services

You’ve added services, crews or locations. If the site doesn’t show them, you’re not getting calls for them.

  • It loses people on their phones

Slow pages, tiny buttons and long forms send mobile visitors back to the search results.

Website design is more than how it looks. 44 sec.

What you get

Websites designed for Valley customers

Every site is planned around your business and how your customers decide. For the full approach, see custom website design.

Across the Valley

One metro. Dozens of markets.

The Phoenix metro stretches across the Valley, and most customers search for help close to home. A good website covers the areas you serve without pretending to have an office in each one.

An illustrative map of the Phoenix metro with Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert, and Glendale and Peoria each linked to one website

Phoenix

The core of the metro and the most competitive searches.

Tempe

Dense, fast-moving and close to everything.

Mesa

One of the largest cities in the Valley, with broad service demand.

Chandler and Gilbert

Fast-growing East Valley communities.

Glendale and Peoria

The West Valley.

We plan your site around the cities where you want work, then build service and area content for those places only. Content for areas you don’t serve brings calls you can’t take, and Google treats copy-paste city pages as spam.

Working with an Arizona studio

GSL Design is based in Yuma, about three hours from Phoenix. Same state, same clock: Arizona skips daylight saving time, so meeting times never shift. Projects run on video calls, shared screens and private preview links, and you work directly with Greg from the first call to launch. If a project needs an in-person visit, Greg can make the trip.

Our work

Recent website projects. Labeled by where they are.

We’re growing in the Phoenix metro and don’t have a Valley project to show yet. Here’s recent work from Southern California, where GSL Design was based for most of its history. The process is the same for your Phoenix site.

What happens next

From first message to launch.

  1. 1. Project Brief

After you reach out, we’ll ask a few focused questions about your goals, audience, timeline, budget and what the site needs to do.

  2. 2. Strategy Call

We’ll talk through the project, clarify the best path forward and decide whether Quick Launch, a landing page or a custom business site makes the most sense.

  3. 3. Design & Build

Once the quote is approved, we’ll design and build the site with clear progress updates and review points along the way.

  4. 4. Launch & Support

After approval, the site goes live. We’ll help with launch details, tracking, performance and support after handoff, as agreed in your scope.

Custom builds: typically 4–6 weeks.

Larger websites and ecommerce builds typically take 6–8 weeks. Your project timeline is confirmed with the scope.

Quick Launch: 3–5 business days of production.

Production starts once complete materials and the deposit are received. Client review and payment delays extend delivery.

Phoenix web design questions

The questions Phoenix business owners ask before a project.

How much does a website cost? How to choose a web designerEssential website pages checklist

How much does a website cost in Phoenix?

It depends on pages, features and how much content we write. The price box above shows our packages. Every project gets a fixed-price proposal first.

Are you located in Phoenix?

No. We’re based in Yuma and work with Phoenix-area businesses remotely, by video call, phone and shared previews. You deal directly with Greg the whole time. If a project needs an in-person visit, Greg can make the trip.

Do you work with businesses in Mesa, Tempe, Chandler and Gilbert?

Yes, across the Valley, including the East and West Valley. Your site can include area content for each city you serve.

How long does a Phoenix website project take?

Most business websites take 4–6 weeks. Larger sites take 6–8 weeks. Quick Launch sites go live in 3–5 business days.

Can you redesign my site without losing rankings?

Yes. We map your pages and redirects before launch so existing rankings carry over. See website redesign.

Will the website rank in Phoenix searches?

It launches with SEO foundations. Phoenix is a competitive search market, and ranking for terms there takes ongoing work. See Phoenix SEO.

What kinds of businesses do you build for?

Mostly local service businesses (trades, home services, automotive), plus professional practices, manufacturers and online stores.

Can I update the website myself?

Yes. WordPress or Shopify, with training. Or we handle it on a care plan.
